My computer wont read the hm-601 , and so im unable to proceed with uninstall

please help me uninstall rockbox from my hm-601
My computer wont read the player , and so im unable to proceed..
I have installed the newer version of rock box. However, when I press any key combbination with power , I get the following message
" Bootloader version: 3fd11c3-130216
  Loading: /.rockbox/BASE.RKW
  Can't open RKW file
  Entering rockchip USB mode..."
This message stays this way till I have to reset it. If I just normally power it, rock box loads fine.
I might have not copied the base.rkw file in the rockbox player folder...but now I cant get to even do that, since the computer wont read
the device once connected..
please help.

Remove the microSD card from the player and use a card reader and copy BASE.RKW from the original firmware into the .rockbox folder.
There is no support for USB transfers on this port yet, you have to boot into OF for that.

Im slightly technically challenged, so please bear with my dull wit questions.

Do you mean, I take the microSD card out of the player, and copy the BASE.RKW file from my pc onto it..and then re-insert it back into the player?
Will the player be able to read the base.rkw file off the microSD?..Does this help the pc read  the player ?

Is this to be done by pressing power and any button? I have tried doing that but im not sure im pressing the right buttons. Do you slide and hold power button and simultaneously press another button? sorry if this part of my question is more product related vs rockbox related..

i appreciate your help..please help me further understand.

yes, but base.rkw must be in .rockbox folder
