No.


Long version:

Yes, but not without A: - editing the source code for the bootloader, and compiling and encrypting your own bootloader, or B: - using the officially unsupported emCORE Loader from the freemyipod project.

The code checks for holding the MENU button, the same as the other ipods, so that should work - instead of pressing the select button to turn it on, press and hold menu.

If that doesn't work then our bootloader is buggy :)
