Bizarre audio playback behavior on Sansa Fuze
« on: March 05, 2013, 09:48:33 AM »
Hi,

I have a very strange problem with a specific audiobook in mp3 format.
The audiobook is the german translation of "A Song from Ice and Fire" Vol.15.
The first file is the intro, just 15 second long. it plays fine.
All other files are about 50 minutes long - and they wont play on rockbox. If i select one, it simply stays at 0:00.

Now the bizarre part: If i have all files in a playlist, starting with the 15-second-intro and let rockbox switch to the next file when the 15 seconds are over, the next file just plays fine. Yes, the one rockbox refused to play a minute ago. Fast-fordward is also working fine now.
And again, when i manually select one of the bigger files, it stays at 0:00 and wont playback anything.
Also bookmarks inside the 50-minutes files dont work.

Of course i checked the files on my computer but didn't find any problems. VLC, MPCHC and others play all files just fine.

Problem occurs with the release 3.12 as well as with the latest daily build.
My player is the Sansa Fuze V1.

Part2-13 i can upload if it helps anyone with solving this problem.

I am grateful for any help:(
