playing all files on sansa clip+

I've looked through the forums & haven't found the answer to my query.

What's the setup to play all music files on the player, both that are on the player itself on the micro flash?

I've tried the playlist but can only get either what's on the player or what's on the micro flash, but not both.

Your advice is appreciated.

Actually, just looked at my player a bit more ... since I'm really not interested in playlists and just want my player to play everything loaded on it and the micro flash, where in rockbox can that be made to happen?

You could insert both your audio directory, and the microsd, to a playlist and save & access it via the Playlist Catalogue. Or, you could simply use the Database, which will display all tracks on the player regardless of their location.

The fine manual for your device describes playback options extensively.

Part of my problem is that I don't have the manual.  I'm working in a remote part of Australia and don't have access until next month to the internet.

I'll work through my player's menu with your suggestion and see if I can get it to work.

I have access to the internet but only through the company.  And their firewall, for whatever reason, blocks the site where the manual resides ... for the pdf, html-zip and online versions.

You mean the links to the non-cached version?  Given what you said above, I suspect that won't work.  Perhaps I was unclear, but I was suggesting that you use google cache to view the links.

Then you should state so instead of telling you "don't have access". With this information people are able to help you much better. Besides, that filter seems to be rather stupid -- both the main website and the download site use the same IP, and thus might be even hosted on the same machine (the forums are hosted separately).

Full access to the internet and have downloaded the manual.  Looking at it now with your advice and should be able to work it out.
