is unbrick procedure also working for sansa clip zip?
tent:
Well it was not my intention to say that the situation is for sure inputable to rockbox or the rbinstaller.. also more details of what happened is difficult to say or to guess if something underlying happened without me to recognize.. but again I'd like to speak more about future possibilities more than about the past.. :P
Dooes somebody here on the forum know who or how were those recovery points discovered? and maybe give me some hint, since there is no other better alternative (than throwing it to thrash bin of course)?

The device didn't work even after doing everything. So I contacted Sandisk Support and told them it's a DOA product. They asked me that a clip zip is not available with them and that they could replace it with a clip plus instead. Well I thought something is better than nothing so I sent my product for replacement to Sandisk Service Centre. Now just waiting for the replacement clip plus to arrive...

4 years have passed and I found my bricked Sansa clip zip in the back of my drawer and was thinking if some good news about the recovery pins or other methods did show up in the meantime.. Would still love to bring it back to live or contribute to find a solution maybe also for others?

Do you have the rockbox bootloader installed? If so, power off the device, hold down the center button, and plug it into a USB port. Assuming the bootloader is ok, that should get you into USB mode.
If you don't have a working bootloader, that won't work and you'd need to do the unbrick process.
