I think that player uses some weird DSP system for decoding, so you probably can't reprogram it to any meaningful extent.

It's certainly possible to envisage a port for said device, ...you can imagine one all you want ;)

I think what you're asking is "is there a likelihood of it actually happening?", which is an entirely different question altogether. It requires someone with the skill, the time, the determination, and the device...perhaps multiple someones, and perhaps not even then.

You could attempt to get the ball rolling by following the steps listed in our fine wiki. But the most important thing to remember, is that you should plan on doing ALL the work yourself, and be pleasantly surprised if it happens otherwise.
