E270 Missing rockbox.mi4 ... won't boot to Rockbox

Would appreciate help restoring Rockbox on E270 V2 (devolved to just booting Sansa OF)

1) Consistently get boot Error "can't load rockbox.mi4: file not found"
2) Sansa OF loads & works
3) Have used Sansa Updater & reset Sansa ("Reset All") + reset USB to MSC
4) RBUtility consistently reports "Successful installation" - but still get Error
5) Deleting .rockbox folder, followed by RBUtility/manual installs results in same Error
6) Used 7zip for extracting to Root (multiple attempts, some clean & some over-writing) all with same Error.
8. Very curious: Searches in .rockbox folder all fail to find "rockbox.mi4", whether extracted to Sansa root or to a Windows folder
9) Attempt to drop .mi4 file (renamed rockbox.mi4) into .rockbox folder prompts continuous, rapid flashing of Rockbox boot screen.

Appreciate any insights, troubleshooting, remedy suggestions ...

There is no such thing as an e270 v2, only a v1. Follow the uninstall directions for the v1.

Just [very] belatedly discovered same via "autodetect" & have resolved RB boot using RBUtility
