iPod Classic LCD Sleep
« on: February 25, 2013, 11:35:28 PM »
Hi there,
first post so let me thank all the people who contribute to Rockbox for their hard work and amazing effort.

I just installed Rockbox on the latest (7th gen) iPod Classic (160gb) and was hoping it would have a display sleep feature.
This feature seems to be available on other ports, but no the iPod one, so I'm hoping someone can shed some light as to why and if there's anything I could do to implement it.

The idea would be, to save battery, to simply put the display to sleep (not just turn off the backlight) when the device is idle for 30 seconds or so or the hold switch is activated.
Did quite a bit of searching but was unable to find any information.

Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
Patrick

Settings -> General Settings -> Display -> LCD Settings -> Sleep (After Backlight Off) -> Always/Never/5/10/15/.../90

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
