Tiny album art with SpartanBlack
« on: February 22, 2013, 03:07:04 AM »
Hello, I think the title about covers it. When I play any album with my FUZE+, I can see the AA perfectly with any other theme. However, with the SpartanBlack WPS skin, the AA stay at the top of the screen, and appears very tiny. If I manually go to where the the AA is stored, I can see it just fine using the jpeg viewer (since my AA's are "Folder.jpg" files). This happens with every album that has art, and has forced me to use less appealing themes for now.

Now, what's interesting is that SpartanBlack used to work quite well before CPU scaling was implemented. After which, I tried reinstalling the theme, but that didn't make any difference. Any ideas?

Strange, it doesn't seem to be a theme related problem. Have you tried a theme with a similar AA size, like Acuity?

Strange, indeed. I've just downloaded Acuity, seems to be working just fine. Perhaps I could try manually changing something as a workaround? I guess I'll experiment, although I don't know much about how Rockbox's themes work. At this point, I'm wondering if I should create a bug report.

Edit: After having read up on the CustomWPS section of the wiki, I've found that if I decrease the AA display size to 140x140, the image simply moves to the left. Increasing the resolution moves the image to the right. Adjusting the x/y position does nothing, likewise for [vertical alignment]. However, [horizontal alignment] seems to be working just fine.

Edit #2: Adjusting the x/y position DOES work. My mistake. The AA is still really small, though.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Not a bug, the viewport the %Cl() is in is only 8 pixels high, put it inside the same viewport as the %Cd() and all will be good.... hmm, prehaps this logic is just broken
