sansa fuze installation problem

I'm not sure what you mean since I only had the sansa connected

Your computer has several drives in it, one of which is the Sansa. If you installed and nothing ended up on the Sansa, you probably selected a different drive. Repeat the installation, this time taking care to select the Sansa rather then some other drive.

Your avatar looks a little perturbed (smile) OK yes I did install the firmware on the Sansa--I do know aty least that much. So now I've started over. Today I successfully installed the most up-to-date firmware form the sandisk website. I hope this won't interfere with rockbox. Only problem is I don't know what's meant by "manufacturer's mode" Please bring me up=to-date on this.

So sorry. Some of this applies to my Sansa e260R- the Rhapsody. However I'm sure I installed the rockbox firmware on the Sansa Fuze's root directory. Guess I'll have to try again
