Build database from CUE files
« on: February 17, 2013, 10:53:42 PM »
Hi, I am a fan of the whole disk FLAC+CUE format for archiving CDs, and even though I can easily split files with cuetools before moving them to my player, I would find it very convenient if the database could be built from the cue sheets and allow navigation to distinct tracks within the archive.

Now, a cursory look at the database format shows it is currently not possible because there is no field for a start offset (there is a bookmark offset though). This could also cause issues if there is a single filename rule in the database since the unicity constraint would have to be on file+offset instead.

So I understand upfront this is not a trivial task, but is is doable?

Thanks for you great work!
