Possible to Transfer Rockbox created playlists to another device with Rockbox?

I created a bunch of playlists on my Sansa e260 and want to transfer them to my Sansa e280R. I searched and tried to find info about how Rockbox handles playlists ,but most post were not about direct transfer between Rockbox.

Im hoping that the playlist file searches the database for the filenames. And it will skip the ones it doesn't find.Is this true?or is it impossible to have my playlist work without manually editing it based on the location of the songs in the new player?

AlexP:
Rockbox uses the standard m3u playlists, which reference file paths.

That sucks.Wish it was able to just initialize the database, and then the playlist would simply read the database filenames and then rebuilt the playlist filepaths.

Is that just to hard to code?or is the processor just to slow to handle that type of computation?

Both.  It would also be difficult to figure out a way to implement it that worked all that well.

evilnick:
If you keep the same directory structure on both players, then the playlists should be interchangeable.
