USB connected and use of rockbox

Hello, when the ipod is connected to usb only to charge the accu it becomes stck at the usb connector. This also happens in my car using usb power.
Is it an option to make an option or something in rockbox? Use rockbox or file transfer menu?

When you connect the dock connector you get the usb connector on the screen. Rockbox is out of work.
The player can only be used to play media as soon as you disconnect the usb.

I would like to see it differently. Connect usb and then get the choice of file transfer or use the player but charge the accu.

Rockbox can already do this. Hold down MENU as you connect your iPod to your car charger, and it will allow it to charge.

For what it's worth, you can actually hold down *any* key (except 'Hold") while inserting USB to force 'charge only mode" and prevent the device from mounting. It has been this way for quite some time now.

Our fine manual describes this behavior.

Locked, Rockbox already does this.  Please read the manual before suggesting features that already exist.
