Replace iPod Hard Drive

I'm looking to get a 5th gen iPod classic and swap out the hard drive with probably a ~128gb solid state drive. I'm not 100% what connection is used and what drives would be compatible. Has anybody tried this yet?

The fifth gen iPod is called iPod Video. The Classic is the 6th gen, so don't mix them.

There is a lot of information about that on the wiki and in the forum like here or here or here.
