zip clip bootloader...

i have tried everything in my power to get rockbox on this clip zip with zero success. i put the device in usb mc mode, foloowed the instructions to a T, says everything is good to go. unplug device from computer... shows no rock installed. what else can i do? im using chrome and windows 7 om a two yearold hp laptop. im not a computer guru, but i dont get why this will not work  :-[

is there a certain way to save the sansa firmware that i have to follow? mine says sansa.zip i dont know, i just really want to install rockbox on the clip zip. i just dont get why it shows everything is good on the bootload but doesnt show rockbox on the clip zip. somebody please help :(

My random guess is that you're trying to install Rockbox to the wrong drive letter, but that's just a random guess since your post doesn't provide a description of what you did.

i just looked on drive c: and it shows the rockbox firmware. how do i make the bootloader open directly with my sansa clip zip drive h? what kind of adjustments need to be made? i apologize i suck bad with software. i can build a pc all day, but i am horrible with commands :(

thank you very much brother. this rockbox firmware is crazy!!!!!! i dont even know where to start with the eq. is it me or is the volume twice as loud. whats the best eq settings for metal? wow. im completely floored!!! somebody needs to get paid for this. it's like being in a recording studio. 5000 thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
