hallo all,
i´m new here because a friend gave me this 20 gb mp3 player as a present. the batterie was low,i found the right new one,
but now(after changing a " system file format error" appeared and the disk didn`t start) I formatted the disk.the player display worked, the player started but now the music files are all gone, and the structure is, ähm,i don´t know.If i put music files via drag and drop on the disk ,they stay there but can not be read by the player.Whats to do?
Maybe there´s a chance to put rockbox on it to get it work again - at the moment it is only a hdd in a mp3 player case.
here is a photo from the thing - there was a guy who sold a few last year at e-bay:

i hope i´ll get some help, and maybe it can be reactivated
cereal_killer:
The player is not supported by rockbox right now and it seems that nobody has shown some interest in porting rockbox to that player till now. So you could be the one that starts a new port.
As for your problems with that player (which are not rockbox related in any way), have you tried a firmware update?
Hope you get your player to work again.
