ipod photo g4 wont charge, stays dead

hello fellow rb users
\i recently installed rb to my 2005 g4 ipod photo
while all goes dandy and the battery indicator states full tank, i unhooked it from the dock, switched it off and after 2 days it`s dead
it wont light up, not even the apple on black background, nothing
no wall charger no usb charge do nothing
so where do i stand?

all previous posts i read , the users had at least the option to switch to disk mode and plug it in to charge, which obviously i dont

How long have you had it connected to the wall charger?

Ipods can take several hours (even up to a full day) before they show any life at all if the battery is really empty.
