Can I change default key that loads OF instead of RB?

I have a Sansa Clip+ that I Rockboxed 9-12 months ago, and have loved it.  But I damaged it recently and the left-arrow button is now broken or non-functioning.  That's also the key that you hold down when you want to load the OF instead of Rockbox, and now it always loads OF because of that non-functioning key.  I did try, more than once, uninstalling RB and re-installing it just to be sure that wasn't the problem.

Is there some relatively simple way I could change that key assignment, say to the right arrow key rather than the left?  The OF kind of sucks now that I'm used to Rockbox.  Thanks.

Only if you recompile the bootloader.

I'm not a coder.  If "recompiling the bootloader" is more complex than opening something in a text editor and changing a line or a few characters, then it is probably beyond my capabilities.

Actually in this case I would say its not worth it.  Editing the mkamsboot code means writing in assembly and any mistake bricks your player.
