still unable to install Rockbox ...
I have followed everything I that has been recommended

your help appreciated
i would like to be able to use Rockbox

I was finally able to install Rockbox ... the problem was I had not selected the proper drive (F) in the File/Configure/Select Device menu of Rockbox utility ... once I selected F drive, Rockbox loaded up on device reboot.
