Problems uninstalling on Sansa Fuze+

I installed rockbox, but didn't like it, and now I can't go back.  I've been searching on the internet for hours now to no avail.  I've read all the uninstallation guides, but none have worked. I just want to go back to factory defaults and default firmware.  Please help!

I don't know which guides you mean, but the directions in the manual (copying a new firmware file and then rebooting into the sandisk firmware) will work.

It says to hold "left" when booting up to go to the sansa firmware, but nothing happens.

Do you have a fuze+ or an e200v2?

I found it by myself.  Thanks.  Now, if this doesn't work for some reason I will try here again.

I don't know why, but I still have to hold volume down and power to boot up even after I've completely removed rockbox.  If I just press power I get the error:

Boot version: 1.0
arg=CAFEBABE addr=4(bunch of zeros)
Loading firmware
File not found

That means you did not uninstall rockbox.

I couldn't uninstall the boot launcher because when I tried, it says:

Rockbox Utility can not uninstall the bootloader on this target. 
Try a normal firmware update to remove the bootloader.

However, the Sansa updater refuses to recognize the mp3 player as an updateable device.

Anyway, I explained this in the first reply to this thread.  You need to copy a new firmware file to the player.  Don't use any updater.  Just take a firmware file and put it on the player.  Also, like I suggested before, the manual has instructions if you need them.

Not really sure what you meant by that first part, but I got it working after I messed around with it for a while.  The problem was that I was connecting it to my computer in the rockbox mode because I didn't know that holding volume down while plugging it in worked.  Anyway, thank you so much for all your help and time.
