animated .gifs fail to appear in file browser - sansa e260 v.1

hello, first post - sorry if i break any rules ;)

i've searched the net and the rockbox site but can't find any reference to this problem:

i load animated .gifs to both the microsd and internal memories and they do not appear in the [3.12] file browser so i can not open them with imageviewer plugin.

are animated gifs supported? are there specified dimensions or settings that they must conform to?

please help - i want to put juggling tutorials on my player so that i can view them while outside and actually juggling!

gif support was committed after 3.12 was released. You can either try daily build or wait for upcoming release.

i have installed 62de15f-130103 which seems to be stable and (some) gifs are working fine
