Question about Micro SD compatability on Sansa Clip +
(1/1)
worm:
Just a quick question and i'll go into detail in necessary but I have a Sansa Clip+ and am having trouble getting this card (SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card ) working on it. Is this something I'll need to wait for support for because it's class 10, how long will that be? Are there compatible 64 GB versions anyone can recommend? The card is formatted as FAT32
saratoga:
If its formatted fat32 it should just work. Nothing else is required.

Well I'm on vacation right now so I'll follow up after I try to sanitize my MP3 files and make sure there's nothing wrong with them. Basically each database update I do that includes everything seems to crash the player.
saratoga:
So your question isn't how to get an SD card to work, but rather why does the database crash? Usually thats due to a corrupted file that crashes the db parser. Under the system menu there is an option to log the database creation process. The last entry in that long may be the one that crashed the player. If you find such a file, please upload it to our bug tracker so that it gets fixed.

My question is am I using an obviously incompatible SD card or not? I got that answer and I'll follow up when I'm back home.
