We ( a derp RB themer
and me) had an idea about translating users manual (at least) from EN to FR, either for Rockbox community and for the community i'm leading.
I would be interested in your point of view about first of all copyright (since it's your work first of all), getting the actuals users manual (one by one or may i wget the whole pages, or just getting the "raw" Latex doc from SVN), and the translation's hosting ( if u want to host the translation/extend your manuals to other languages/ or i export it to my website's community to add it through a mediawiki).
Moreover, since RB is a "global" firmware, isn't it possible to create a common guide? That would be less painful than doing it for each player moreover since most of the parts of the guide are common (if we exclude printscreen).
That's still an idea, and i know there is a bunch of work, that's why i'm trying to see the feasibility
