missing (?) buttons on port simulators
« on: December 31, 2012, 07:11:06 AM »
Hi Folks,

I am writing this post here as I could not find what would be a more appropriate forum...

Some buttons are not displayed on the simulators. It could be useful to list
> the keyboard keys which can replace them
> the buttons which cannot be replaced (so far)

Here I go (rough list, keys depend on context...)

===================================
Sansa Clip+ simulator
(Note for those struggling like me... : Home button BELOW the Home icon is hardly visible. Modifying the image file UI256.bmp makes it easier to use)

> working keys
>> Esc replaces power
>> Arrows work as Up/Down/Right/Left or Home

> missing buttons
>> Volume
>> Lock
===================================

Regards,

Steph

What build are you using? Try rasher's.

I use rasher's, not aware another. would it make any difference ? These buttons are still missing.
Anyway here are 2 tips:
u simulates usb (dis)connection
F5 generates a screendump at the root of the simulator (not really a missing key but useful to create theme upload)

I don't believe anyone has implemented or documented them yet.
