Audio Dock and Remote Case for GoGear HDD6330

I have a audio dock with remote for a gogear how come the remote control for the dock does not work?

I also have a protective case for a GoGear HDD1835/15 it has its remote via headphone jack pretty much is the same remote as the docks remote except for in a case and neither one works with the dock or case why is this?

The audio part of the dock works perfectly so i dont see why the remote wont

Because I don't have any interest in it.  You seem to be about the only one interested in it, so why don't you do it?

Looking at the phillips branch in /firmware, it looks like its been over a year since any major changes were made to the 6330 code.  So unless your problems aren't specific to your player, there is not likely to be any difference.  So I guess either make do with it, fix it yourself, or get a player thats better supported.
