Disable shuffle generally?

Hi!

Is there a way to disable shuffle totally? I use a Sansa Clip Zip mostly under my shirt and have repeatedly the problem that I accidentally turn on shuffle by pushing the home button for an extended period of time so that the menu with shuffle and repeat appears - both of which I never use as I only listen to audiobooks.

Or is there a way to turn off this functionality of the home button (not the short press of the button but the long one)?

Yes, you can replace the functions that appear on that menu (or I think remove them).  The menu is called the quick menu, and the manual should have details on how to customise it.

On Clip+ you can lock/unlock the buttons = Home+Enter

Probably the same on Clip zip
