Rockbox as external usb sound card.

I heard there are such version where Rockbox acts as a usb sound card in the source files. Can I install that version on my Sansa Clip+ with the install utility? If so, how?

I'm not sure I can find or even compile that specific version of rockbox for my mp3 player. I've managed to install the regular Rockbox with usb support on my clip+.

Can you point me to which exact version I need to download to install it so it can act as a sound card.

There's a half0finished branch for that somewhere, but that code does *not* support the clip+, and it's by no means ready for general use.
