salvaging cf card from rockboxed ipod mini

sorry if this is the wrong place...

my mini kicked the bucket (nm why, already threw it out) but i want to salvage the music from 64gb cf card. so i bought a transcend cf card reader, so im sure it reads 64gb cards, and i plug the card in and it shows 54gb/64gb full (as it should be). problem is all the folders show up empty. all the root folder structure shows up but no deeper than that and all of them show up as 0 bytes when checking properties. this happens in winxp and ubuntu. any ideas?

Sounds like the filesystem is corrupt.
