Sansa Fuze v2 button responsiveness

I was just about to recommend that you hold the << button while powering the device up. That would power it up with the OF, and you could see if the OF was constantly returning you to the main menu (since the button to do that is the same button that opens the Dynamic Playlist). That would prove weather this was a hardware or software problem.

But, in light of this info, it seems the answer is obviously software.
