Can't create playlist and more issues with Sansa e260

(1/1)

luk:
Guys,

First let me thank you for Rockbox. It is great piece of software - I hope. I've installed it so I can use 32GB microSD cards on it as the old firmware only allows 2GB. Can I use the 32GB now (I have not bought it yet)?

After installation of the latest Rockbock I've noticed few weird things:

* Can't create playlists, none of the options described in the tutorial work for me, I simply have no such options to chose. For example this image:
http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-sansae200/rockbox_interface/images/ss-playlist-menu-176x220x16.png. I haven't got any of them
* In FILES-> VIDEO folder shows empty, but I have some video files there. They worked on my original SanDisk firmware and can see them when I connect device to my computer
* I don't see MUSIC folder in FILES. Only: PHOTO, RECORD, tmp, VIDEO & VERSION
Am I missing something? I'm a new user (I had no idea about Rockbox 1h ago) so forgive if some of my problems are trivial and related to my lack of knowledge.

AlexP:
Yes, Rockbox supports 32 GB sd cards

I don't know why the playlist parts aren't working for you, can you detail exactly what you are doing?

Rockbox and the Sansa firmware support different video formats, see the manual or www.rockbox.org/wiki/PluginMpegplayer

If you transferred your music using MTP mode in the OF (original firmware) then Rockbox won't be able to see them.  Either retransfer them using MSC mode in the OF, or using Rockbox's USB mode.
