Technical question about Sansa Clip+ micro SD cards and OS displaying capacity
zezayer:
Use Google:
Windows for some reason or other refuses to format large SD cards as FAT32. There are loads of other programs and guides out there on how to format a 64gb SD as FAT32. - Takes 2 mins with the right program.
Clip family of MP3 players with rockbox or the original firmware all accept current 64gb SDXC as long as they are formatted as FAT32.

Just a slight update here, with a 32 gig card windows formats to fat32, and unless I am mistaken its only vista and up that forces you to use xfat for larger cards. XP should still format to fat32. Sandisk is telling you larger cards are unsupported because the clip+ doesnt have xfat support and they need to stay current with what windows does for support reasons. The clip+ will happily work with larger cards but if you are using vista or newer you need to find a third party app to format it to fat32. Im waiting to hear the first successful results with the new 128 gig microsxd cards! We would finally be caught up with ipod classic/zune120!

32GB is still SDHC. SDXC starts at 64 GB because 32 is the last size Windows will format as fat32.
