Newer genertions support
« on: November 17, 2012, 10:31:45 PM »
I wish to newer generations of IPods and other players be supported, ROCKbox is only supported on the older models of devices.
I wish that the latest generation of iPod be supported, what do you think?

I agree, when I went to the store to buy a sansa clip they were completely out so I opted to buy the GoGear Ariaz 2012 by Philips before Hurricane Sandy hit hoping rockbox worked with it. $70+ wasted on great hardware with a mediocre firmware, the only other redeeming quality being the SongBird software that Philips didn't even develop.

I tried to at least get a feature I sorely miss from rockbox implemented in a new firmware update but the response was pretty laughable.

That happens when you try to install RB on further generations of players...
New developments should be developed for newer players!!
