iPod 5.5 + 240GB Drive + Rockbox = How to put together?

Took the time to post a thread last night and don't see it anywhere. Anyway,

I have:

iPod 5.5gen
240GB drive
1300mAh battery

I need it rockboxed.

I ordered all the parts at once but don't know where to begin putting it together. ???

Mother nature says; put the hardware in all at once, connect to itunes, follow rockbox instructions?

iFixit has excellent and detailed repair guides for iPods. Follow along with them to upgrade your drive, then restore in iTunes and follow Rockbox's install instructions (or better yet, grab Rockbox Utility).
