bootloader installation very simple question

Ok, so i'm at the part where it says

You should now plug your iPod into your PC via the USB cable, and type the following sequence of commands:

ipodpatcher 0
ipodpatcher 1
ipodpatcher 2
ipodpatcher 3

I have reached number 62, and it still has not recognized my ipod, is this normal, is there supposed to be a space inbetween ipodpatcher and the number? any help would be greatly appreciated

I would say you have passed it.

Yes there is supposed to be a space between the word and number.

I suggest that you unmount your iPod and reattach it and have another try

usually it is 1 ,and for 4gb ipod mini it says something like 37236kb found
it didnt exactly say it was ipod
