Sansa Fuze v2, Rockbox freezing (or 'skipping') after a few songs. mSD?

Unless you can program and take a look at why the driver fails with your card, there isn't much you can do.

One further bit of potentially useful information:
I had the same mSD card in my Clip+ running RockBox 3.9 and used it for a year without incident.
The exact same mSD spent many hours on long-haul flights, so I feel that it's been adequately tested in that device.
I feel stupid for omitting this information in my first post -Perhaps there are some differences in the drivers either between the devices or between the versions that could be identified.
Also, I ran the card as-is, pulling it straight out of my Clip+ and tried to use it in the Fuze V2. -It was only after the freezing behaviour that I decided to try formatting the card.
I'm afraid that I tried my hand at writing code many years ago and discovered that I don't have the patience (or intelligence?) for that. So, you're right in saying that I likely won't be examining or modifying the driver anytime soon.
I will try version 3.9 on my Fuze V2 and see if that makes any difference. If it does, that could be interesting.

Well, installed RockBox 3.9.1 and I thought it was OK...for a while.
After 11 tracks / ~ 118 mins, it locked up using the external Lexar mSD.
I'm looking forward to the delivery of the Sandisk mSD.

There is some other coverage of this here: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/12658
I find this interesting also:
"I don't know exactly how long this problem has been going on but it has been getting worse. Before the 30,000th SVN release, perhaps somewhere around 28000, I would be getting crashes occasionally with the V2s but nothing like this."
I continue to wait for my new mSD card. I'm starting to wonder about the Amazon merchant... I can get a full-sized medicine cabinet for the bathroom shipped faster than an mSD card!! ::)
cats_like_micro_sd_cards:
Right, problem = sorted.
With the new Sandisk 32 GB Class 4 mSD inserted in the Fuze V2, I am unable to reproduce any of the freezing symptoms whether skipping back & forth between tracks or simply letting it play out over an extended interval.
I re-flashed back to stable release 3.12 and also it's good like that.
FWIW, here are the debug specs for the new Sandisk Card:
[microSD 1]
SU32G Rev 8.0
Prod: 9/2012
Ser#: 0x72434287
M=03, O=SD
Blocks: 0x03B72400
Speed: 25.0MBit/s
Taac: 10.0ms
Nsac: 0 clk
R2W: *2
So, it looks like Saratoga's advice: "Sounds like some problem with your SD card. Try a different one." is the best advice for this bad behaviour.
Will post back if anything comes up, but after some hours of playback, I would have expected something to have gone wrong by now with the other mSD card.
I hope this helps somebody avoid some frustration / disappointment.
