Backlight on buttonpress when locked (fuze+)

I found out, that backlight on my fuze+ is constantly on, because that touch panel is sensitive to my pants. I mean, when I lock buttons on my sansa and put it in my pocket, my pants touch it and that activates backlight with caution: "buttons locked". Is there any option to turn backlight off in this case, so it wont turn on until I unlock my sansa? It makes me angry, because it eats battery very fast.

I notice this too - I'm wondering whether a better alternative might be to leave the screen off while buttons are locked.  The risk to this is that it could potentially cause confusion if someone doesn't think to try pressing the hold button to unlock the player, and therefore think there's something wrong with the screen.  But the way it currently acts is certainly not optimal.
