iriver H140 / H320 data transfer rates with CF / SSD mod

hello,

so far, i replaced the hd in my iriver h320 with a IDE to CF adaptor + 32GB CF card and
in my iriver h140 with a 64GB Kingspec SSD.
when i copy something from the pc to the h320 i have transfer rates
around 9MB/s which should be "normal", i think. on the other hand, when i copy sth. to
the h140, the rate is around 4,5MB/s...
any idea? the kingspec ssd works like a charm in the h140 with that one exception.
i mean, i could deal with that but i wonder if there might be something wrong or the possibility
to help it wich certain rockbox settings or whatever... !?

EDIT:
I've made iRiver H120 SSD mod and also have write tranfer rate around 4-4.5 MB/s. I use bootloader 7pre4.

I did not try it so far, but it seems the write speed might be doubled or tripled (for H120).
