Doubt about Sansa Clip Zip, Help!

Hi! I've been able to enjoy Rockbox for the last months without problem but now i have some small things i would like to know:


-Is there a way to erase the database via PC? (so that when i restart the device it will generate its database from scratch)
-Is there a way to configure the theme/fonts via PC? (I've been unable to change the fonts of the menus, them being stuck in the classic Clip mode, i can only change fonts by changing the whole theme)
-Any updates on the Rockboy ?
-What do you need (In knowledge Software and Hardware) to be capable of helping in the development of this device's Rockbox?

You can change settings by editing the config file in the.Rockbox folder if you really want. Same for deleting the database files in the same folder.

Development is in c and very rarely assembly.

If you would like to change your themes font you can find the files that look like /.rockbox/wps/THEME_NAME and end in .wps, .sbs, and maybe .fms.
these are just plain text files. when you open them there should be a line that looks like:

--- Code: ---%Fl(2, FONT_NAME.fnt)
--- End code ---
There might be more then 1 line that looks like this. this tells the theme which font(s) to use. change them to your prefered font will change the theme. if you have more questions about themeing check out your players manual or look here
