Using Shortcuts to Create Bookmark

How can I add bookmark creation to the Shortcuts menu?  I know there's a shortcuts.txt file, but I have no idea what to put in there and I can't find any examples anywhere.

Edited to add: This answer may seem non-obvious, but the linked material does in fact answer the question posed.
This is not (currently) possible. The best rule of thumb I know of is "Does bringing the context menu up on the item I wish offer the option: "Add to Shortcuts?"?", if not, then you have your answer.

I see a patch was submitted to add a keypress for bookmark creation, but I don't know if it's been integrated into the stable release yet. I haven't a clue how to install a patch for my own use, sorry.

For now, long-select, down to bookmarks and create, I think is all you can do.

Rockbox newbie here, so forgive any inaccuracies. I will happily stand corrected.

Our fine manual describes the options available with regard to bookmarking

A quick look suggests the the "Bookmark On Stop - Ask" option may be suited to your uses.
