Recover a creative zen style m300

(1/1)

xyko:
Hi,
my player does not work anymore after a reset. It does not power on and when I connect it to the computer it is not recognized.
I use windows 7 and Linux (Ubuntu 12.04).
When I plug the player in the Linux PC I can see on syslog those messages:

Sep  4 09:07:42 servidor-xyko kernel: [ 6223.128021] usb 1-7: new high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci_hcd

Sep  4 09:07:52 servidor-xyko kernel: [ 6233.356814] usbhid: USB HID core driver

I would like to know if it's possible to flash a new firmware on this player using Linux or Windows.

Thanks in advance.
Xyko

saratoga:
Probably not anyone who can help you here since this forum is for Rockbox players.

xyko:
Thanks saratoga,
but as my player is a Sigmatel one I thought people at RockBox could help me anyway.
Regards,
