Last.fm .scrobbler file missing on clip zip

(1/1)

Ike348:
Hello,

I am a new owner of a Sansa Clip Zip and I just downloaded Rockbox onto it a couple of days ago. I also use Last.fm, and I was glad to find that there was an option to scrobble songs played on my Clip Zip. After selecting the option to scrobble, rebooting my device, and listening to a couple of songs, I went to look at the .scrobbler file. I was able to find it easily, after changing the settings to allow me to view unknown files. However, when I went to plug in my Zip to my Mac to upload the file, I noticed the file wasn't where it was. I searched the entire device, and my microSD card, and I couldn't find it. So I unplugged the Zip, and the file was still listed, in the root directory, where it was before. I created a new directory and moved the file to it. When I plugged in my Zip again, the folder was there, but no file. Then I shut down my Zip, turned it on again, plugged it in and still no file.

Is there an easy solution that I'm missing? Or can I make the files manually and somehow convert them to the .log format?

torne:
Files starting with a . are hidden by default on OSX (and on Linux). You may need to change some setting somewhere to show hidden files.

Thanks. I just renamed the file to "scrobbler.log" on my Zip, and that file uploaded fine to dap-scrob.
