Playlist Issues

Hi guys, I'm extremely new to rockbox and this is probably quite a stupid question.

I'm running the latest version on an ipod video 30GB 5Th gen and I'm having a weird issue with playlists.

Currently if I play files through the directory I can browse to the song I want within a folder and go back to the list with the select/menu button and scroll through the songs manually, however If I create a playlist I can only go through songs with the previous/next buttons! clicking the select button takes me back to the playlist selection screen... is this intended behavior or am I missing something here?

This is the intended behavior. You go back to the screen you came from.

If you open the context menu (long press select on the ipods, I believe) you'll find the playlist viewer (in the playlist menu), where you can browse all songs in the playlist (just the filename/path though).
