does rockbox work with ps3

i have most of my music stored on my ps3 (which has a 500gb hdd). can i hook it up and transfer files like i can with the stock firmware?

I don't know how the PS3 manages devices, but most players running Rockbox just show up as mass storage (like a memory stick), so if the PS3 can handle that then yes.
