After uninstallation

I unninstalled rockboy succesfully from my 4G, I am taking it off this one, but putting it up on my 5G video, but I noticed that in the ipod there are still the .rockbox folder and the rockbox.ipod file, is it safe to remove these from the ipod by just deleting them from the ipod drive while its plugged in?

I think you just uninstall the bootloader when you uninstall it, and I think you can delete them, but don't listen to me, i might be wrong. Ask llorean

Yes, after you've uninstalled the bootloader you can remove the rockbox.ipod and .rockbox folder safely just by deleting them. In fact, you always can. If the bootloader doesn't find them, it *should" say "Error: -1" and then load the iPod FW anyway, so it'll be safe even if you haven't uninstalled the bootloader.
