Sansa Clip Zip
« on: August 30, 2012, 01:26:40 AM »
Hi! I'm new on the community and a proud owner of a Rockboxed Sansa Clip Zip 8GB

I just have some minor questions:
-How do images on image-flow (and themes) work?
Currently i have no artwork for any mp3 i listen to (cleared them all with mp3tag), and i use the classic clip theme with AlienZip While Playing Screen (to avoid Artwork)
-What Nintendo ROM's currently work?
-I have Philips SHP 1900 Headphones, is it ok if i don't Equalize my music (192 kbps)?
Some friends told me equalizing is only a good option when your Headphones are really lacking
-To avoid transfer problems i should connect it to the PC while it's off right?

-Latest Edit: Now i have a 32GB Micro SD (Class4) And it works great!
-Pro tip: I've confirmed the Clip works better for transferring if you plug it to the PC while off

Thank you in advance  ;D

Hey thelonely,

As a personal opinion, I can answer the equalizer question. I've had crappy and incredible earbuds, but no full-up headphones, so I'm not sure this may be completely applicable. I've found that using the equalizer does indeed enhance the music. The only problem anybody might have with it is that it no longer outputs the given song as the author intended it. Not a big problem for enthusiasts (like you and me), but purists hate this! Of course, it's the purists with the $1k headphones. ;) As long as you just want GREAT music and don't care about having to make it that way, I would use the equalizer ALWAYS.

Again, this is my opinion, not a law, and you should do whatever you like. ^.^

Regards,
D.J.
