Can Rockbox be installed on a PC?

Since my 160 GB iPod Classic just doesn't have nearly enough space for all my music even with the 240 GB upgrade and since those incompetent morons at crApple are taking to long to get off of their fat stupid lazy dumb asses and release a larger capacity iPod, I was thinking about tacking a cheap touchscreen netbook and putting a 1 TB hard drive in it and turning that into a portable media player and since I will only be using it to play music, I won't need to have a full Windows or Linux operating system on it.

You could use Rockbox As an Application on top of linux or android. Bear in mind that UI might need some tweaking as originally rockbox was not designed to work on devices with high resolution screens. Another problem is audio quality. Soundcards built in cheap tablet/netbook are not the best sound sources in the world.
