control rockbox playback with computer

Hi,
Is it possible to control rockbox playback with my computer? I have a small router which runs linux and it has a usb port. I want to connect my sansa clip(running rockbox) to my router. And execute commands such as play, stop etc... Is this possible with rockbox? I can even create a web interface if there exists such a protocol between linux and the Rockbox Firmware.

Just use a jukebox program running on your computer to play the files on your DAP.
