Rockboxed sansa fuze v2 - weird issue after unplugging from PC

(1/1)

zoufland:
Hello Rockbox users,

I've had my Fuze rockboxed for about a year, and nothing was wrong with it, until yesterday. I had it plugged to my PC because I wanted to listen music from it, and in the meantime I copied two files onto its internal memory. After I ejected it from the PC, everything was normal, I had this 'Refreshing your media' stuff and so on.

The problem started when I turned it off and on again in order to get into RB. The bootloader was brighter than usual and I got white screen. I reset my Fuze and it loaded normally, except the display was brighter and I had some small black stripes on it. I restarted the player only to get white screen again.

Now when I'm booting Fuze, I have white screen at the booting sequence, but the splash screen appears and everything is normal. Sometimes though, I have the same issue as I described on the beginning.

The strangest thing is that when I've booted into OF, it was all fine. So i think it's just RB related problem.

Sorry for the long description, but I'm starting to be afraid that my Fuze is dying. I'm also not sure whether I've posted on the right subforum, if not, please correct me.

Did you recently update the bootloader, or rockbox?
I experienced a similar problem, but only after an update and only once. It was fine after a hard reset.
