battery life of sansa zip vs sansa clip +

I have lost my fantastic sansa clip+ so it's time I bought another one.

As they have come up with a follow-up, I am considering it's bigger color screen, but my concern is battery life. Does battery last as long as in its predecessor?

Are the buttons comfortable and reliable?

My previous clip+'s play button got so worn out I was already considering flipping the device upside down.

Is the current version stable?
