Sansa Clip+ (3.11.2) USB Mode

(1/2) > >>

hoekeat:
many thanks to the developer who implemented USB feature for clip+, it is very very handy.

One way to turn it off while i am using my PC to charge Clip+ is to hold down a key, plug in, then wait for a few seconds, then release the button.

Is there any option to turn off this USB mode so that i can just plug it in for charging while not interrupting song playback? When i want it to be recognized as a usb device, then only i turn it on?

saratoga:
Hold any button while inserting the USB plug.

My question states clearly that I am aware of holding any button while plugging in USB cable will disable it. But I am charging the unit on daily basis and dont need to engage the USB mode that often. It would be a good option for us to disable it until we need it. This is to cater for the 90% usage pattern instead of going against it.

saratoga:
Ok I didn't understand what you were trying to say.  I don't think there is any way to do that.

hoekeat:
how do i request for a feature?  ;D
